Do you take insurance? We take insurance on what we call a “refund policy”. Before a patients starts the Holistic Specialists consultation process the patient can complete an online insurance verification. After the first consultation our staff will submit the bill to the insurance. If the insurance pays to our practice we refund your consultation fees.

Would you love to reap the benefits of alternative medicine, but you just aren’t sure how you will pay for it? If so, you will be glad to know that more and more insurance companies are now covering the cost of holistic medicine. At Holistic Specialists, our goal is to care for as many people as possible, which is why we accept policies from all of the major insurance companies, including Cigna, United Health Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana and Worker’s Compensation cases. If you are covered with out-of-network coverage under one of these providers, it is important to check your policy, because some plans cover holistic medicine, and some do not. If you are unsure if your plan covers our services, not to worry, we can help you find out! Contact us today, and we will start the verification process. Some of the questions we will ask your insurance provider include:

• Are holistic services benefits covered under your policy?
• What kind of limitations or exclusions does your policy have?
• Does your policy include in-network and out-of-network coverage?
• How much is your annual deductible?
• How much is your coinsurance and co-payment?
• Does your plan have an annual visit limit?

We will happily bill your insurance provider for our services if your plan offers holistic medicine benefits. If our services are not covered under your policy, we will go over alternative payment options available for you during your complimentary consultation. For your convenience, we accept checks, cash and all major credit cards. Keep in mind that your complimentary consultation is absolutely free, and you won’t have to worry about receiving a bill from us or your insurance company for your consultation.

If you are paying in cash, please note that you can enjoy big savings by purchasing one of our Functional Medicine packages. These packages allow you to receive discounts for paying for your treatment ahead of time. If your policy doesn’t cover our services, we will work with you to create a suitable package to meet your needs, no matter what your financial situation may be.
